		Leigh Sacks, DPT

	Leigh Sacks, full-time physical therapist at Tidewater Physical Therapy was born and raised in Southern New Jersey, Leigh spent her summers living and working here at the Delaware beaches. Upon graduating Physical Therapy school, she moved here full-time and now lives locally in Rehoboth Beach. She earned her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Health and Exercise Science from Gettysburg College, where she gained volunteer experience with physical therapists in various settings such as the Shock Trauma Unit at the UMBC Medical Center. At Gettysburg, Leigh devoted an entire semester to travel the world, studying and experiencing unique cultures and people in places such as Cuba, Brazil, Africa, India, and Asia. Upon graduating from Gettysburg, she immediately went on to complete her graduate work at Chatham College in Pittsburgh earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Prior to working for Tidewater she gained clinical experiences in areas including outpatient orthopedic, critical care, and inpatient rehabilitation, both locally in Lewes and Rehoboth, and in Philadelphia. Recently, Leigh has completed courses towards becoming trained using the McKenzie Method for Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. Leigh is Lead Therapist at the North Lewes, Delaware office of Tidewater Physical Therapy located on Old Orchard Road. ©2009, Tidewater Physical Therapy
