February is the month of love. Boxes of chocolate, dozens of red roses, fancy candlelight dinners and mushy greeting cards covered in applique hearts and lace.
But at Tidewater Physical Therapy, we celebrate the month of love a different way. We honor the special relationships formed between our physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, physical therapy technicians, administrative staff and patients. We also celebrate the trust and bond formed between our physical therapists and patients due to the one-on-one attention we are known for.
The bond we forge every day with our patients shows so endearingly through the array of cards, handwritten notes and letters we receive from them – which we affectionately call “love letters.”
To spread the love, we would like to share snippets from some of our love letters we have received throughout the years. We treasure these thoughts and feelings from our patients and greatly appreciate them taking the time to write us once they have graduated from physical therapy.
“To all my friends at Tidewater PT, Many thanks for all of your kindness. I’ll miss you!”
“Just a little note to let you all know that I’m doing ok but most of all, I want to thank you all for helping me progress with my therapy.”
“I know I’m having a little bit of a setback now but I’ll be back soon to continue what we started together. You are all awesome! Miss you guys! See you soon!”
“Many thanks to the staff at Tidewater, for all you did to see me through 10 weeks of recovery from my knee replacement surgery. You truly have been my fortune and my salvation.”
“Just sending a thank you from the bottom of my heart. After round two of physical therapy, I am feeling much better. Still not 100%, but with your kindness and caring I have come through therapy quickly and have returned to all my daily undertakings. . .tai’ chi, yoga, gardening, etc. Still doing the exercises too. I truly appreciate all of you and all the things you do so well!”
“I just wanted to take a few minutes to write to you and thank you so very much for all you have done for me. You have done so much in such a short amount of time; I wouldn’t have thought possible. And to make matters even better, you have done it with pleasantries. It has really been a joy coming there. Thank you again.”
“As I was having my therapy I noticed [my physical therapist] and staff were equally committed to all of their other clients.”
“There were never any days that I dreaded going. The atmosphere there is just really good!”
“I can’t thank you enough for everything you do for me”
“I just wanted to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you and your team for your outstanding client services and extraordinary professional care over the past 6 weeks.”
“We are truly fortunate to have you and your team in place at this facility, which adds much value to the physical therapy options in the area.”
“All of this teamwork ultimately culminated in the successful outcome of my issues and created an atmosphere of mutual trust, friendship and respect”
“Thank you so much for all of your hard work. We are grateful for your help and expertise during our time with you.”
“For my friends, you have been a blessing in so many ways.”
“I was truly impressed on how well you all worked together as a team and individually with your clients, as well. You all seem to have a sixth sense out who needs what and when, and your efforts to assure that we are comfortable during the process is certainly noteworthy.”
“A BIG thank you to all the devoted and caring staff, whose patience, understanding, and knowledge brought me full circle from pre-op spinal surgery to post-op, and beyond.”
“[My recovery] is truly miraculous, and I am so indebted to the therapists, interns and all of the staff who worked in unison to “keep me moving.”
“I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done for me.”
To our patients, thank you for your kind words. You motivate us every day to be better. We thrive off of your success and learn from you every day. We are truly honored and humbled to serve the wonderful Delmarva Peninsula, as the leading and most respected provider of physical therapy.
